Last Saturday, Atlanta’s Westside Provisions District witnessed a beautiful wedding ceremony between Angela and Bellen. The ceremony was a perfect blend of modern and traditional styles that left the guests in awe. Halle Neeley designed and planned the event to perfectly incorporate tones and textures of red to pay homage to the couple’s Chinese culture. Red is an auspicious color, symbolizing good luck, happiness, and prosperity.

Angela looked stunning in a timeless silk gown that complimented her graceful personality. The gown was elegantly designed with intricate details of draping and a stunning cap sleeve. Bellen, on the other hand, opted for a navy suit detailed with black trim: simple yet sophisticated.

The ceremony was held in the Freemarket Art Gallery, with guests seated in a circle around the couple. After sharing vows and rings were exchanged, the two were greeted by an entourage of loved ones at Cooks & Soldiers, where they had their first date years ago. To really enhance the guest experience, a 5-course traditional Chinese dinner was served and a masterpiece of a cake sat in the corner of the venue. The wedding cake was a masterpiece in of itself, adorned with a luscious display of red and white flowers by Ornate Events. The evening concluded with cake cutting and dancing to the rhythm of songs hand-selected by the couple themselves.

When asked about their greatest lesson about love, they shared: “Love isn’t always pretty. It shows in large gestures, like signing the job contract that would move you across the country to be together, to the small moments, like filling up a water bottle. It isn’t always nice, but it persists through fights. It takes effort, and it takes believing.”

Their celebration is one of our favorites to date, and we wish the couple a lifetime of happiness and love!
