Corey & Me | Portraits

We had the joy of spending time with our friend, Farrah Power for a sunrise session in the heart of Atlanta earlier this summer.

I knew working with Farrah would result in imagery that was more documentary in approach and she truly captured our love in a way that’s so beautifully reflective of how being loved by Corey feels (safe, tender, a comforter to my heart).

While Corey and I have been photographed together before, we’ve never actually been photographed wearing attire that’s different than a traditional suit/tux and formal gown. I wanted the focus of this day to be on our love for one another in the city we call home, rather than the jazzed-up version of ourselves that I naturally gravitate towards. I love how understated our outfits were and how it really gave us the space to focus on one another. I did sneak in a few photos of a rust-colored dress that I fell in love with (hello, autumn!), but I think that my favorites are definitely towards the end of the post. 😉 Scroll to see.

I’ll forever treasure our time together and these photos that serve as a reminder of these first few months of marriage.

On to some of my favorites…
