There’s something about Montage Palmetto Bluff that feels like it was made for moments like this—quiet, intentional, and deeply meaningful. Nestled in South Carolina’s Lowcountry between Savannah and Hilton Head, it’s a place where time slows down, where centuries-old oaks draped in Spanish moss create a setting that feels almost suspended in time.
Hudson knew that from the very beginning.
When he first reached out in November 2025, he had already been dreaming up this proposal for months. Morgan had always shared her love for oak trees…the romance, the charm, the way they seem to hold stories within them. It only felt fitting that this next chapter of their story would begin beneath them. We spent time thoughtfully planning every detail, ensuring the moment would feel natural and true to them. Not staged. Not rushed. Just intentional. It all came to fruition April 9, 2026.
A love rooted in story
Hudson and Morgan’s story began in Arizona, and over time, their lives led them to Dallas, where they now live together. But like so many couples drawn to the Lowcountry, they’ve found something special in returning to places that allow them to slow down and be present.
Montage Palmetto Bluff became the perfect setting. Not just for its beauty, but for the feeling it creates. A sense of stillness. Of clarity.
They arrived the day before the proposal, spending time walking the property, taking it all in, letting the space become familiar. The plan was simple: an afternoon together, followed by dinner at River House. Nothing overly orchestrated, just a day that felt like their own.
