Berry College is nested in the small town of Rome, just north of Atlanta. The college features a gorgeous reflecting pool and stone architecture, making anyone feel as if they had stepped foot into Europe. I had the opportunity to collaborate with the wonderful Whitney of Whitewood Events, an incredible wedding planner who’s based in Athens, as well as Alyssa of Ginger Rose Flowers. Now you tell me what’s more impressive, that our bride, Erin, did her hair and makeup herself, or that beautiful back to her Carol Hannah gown?

Accompanying Erin and Joe, her groom, was their sweet puppy, Pince, who himself wore a black bowtie that matched Joe’s attire perfectly. One of the things that I loved so much about Erin and Joe was that their story has been filled with travel and a tenderness. Erin told me that she and Joe didn’t really talk often about when they would get married, but all she’d tell him was that she would say ‘yes’ if he asked her to marry him.
