As an artist, my desire is that my work would be honest and sincere. I strive to create beautiful and organic art; something that is worthy to grace walls and compels and moves the heart.
I cannot fake emotion or the way two individuals can love each other so tenderly. But, what I can do is capture it and help others remember it, and I will never ask my subjects to pretend to be like someone that they are not.
Instead, I much prefer to stop, look, observe, and watch my subjects and their interaction; marrying romantic yet non-intrusive direction and prompts to produce imagery that accentuates the care and tenderness one holds for another.
Over the years, I've grown to love the art that I create and the privilege it is to serve others. I count a joy to have the opportunity to document and celebrate seasons of life that will hold significance for years to come and am humbled by the role I play as a documentor of something that future generations will get to look at and hold in their hands.
My journey as an artist and refining my craft is forever ongoing and those that join me in this pursuit by entrusting me to enter their lives with the role of being the one to capture the affinity one has for another and everything in between leaves me humbled and in awe. It would truly be such a joy and an honor for you to allow me to do the same.
I am a firm believer in photographing a events fully from the early preparation down to the last moments. While based in Atlanta, I frequently travel across the Southeast to places like Washington, DC, Virginia, Charleston, South Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia to document life’s greatest moments. Traveling has my heart and it would be a joy to celebrate alongside of you, no matter where you are.
