This day was the fullest expression of joy.
Photographing Hannah and Charlie’s wedding at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta was a true honor. The trust they placed in us to document the day on film and the creative freedom they gave us meant the world. Their celebration was recently featured on the front page of Style Me Pretty, and it’s easy to see why. From heartfelt vows to elegant design details, the entire day was a thoughtful and beautifully curated experience.
A Ceremony That Mattered
While the reception often takes center stage, the ceremony held deep significance for Hannah and Charlie. This wasn’t just a formality—it was the foundation of their day. Surrounded by loved ones, they made lasting promises in an intimate, meaningful setting. We always love when couples prioritize this moment, and this one was especially moving to document.
A Garden-Inspired Vision at Callanwolde
Set against the historic architecture and manicured grounds of Callanwolde, the couple’s Green and Cream Garden Party vision came to life. The design by Pop and Fizz was sophisticated and modern, blending neutral tones and fresh textures for a refined but inviting atmosphere. From the paper goods to the reception tables, every detail was considered and cohesive.
Florals by 89th and Autumn added natural texture and softness to both ceremony and reception spaces. Their signature mix of greenery and delicate blooms worked beautifully with the aesthetic of Callanwolde’s grand hall, elevating the space without overpowering it.
Stylish Details and a Fashion Moment
Hannah wore a gown by KYHA Studios, featuring a scooped neckline, wrap skirt, and custom additions including a rose and train detail that made the dress completely her own. Fashion was a high priority, and this look struck the perfect balance of modern elegance. Jade Jamrozy styled her hair in loose waves that echoed the gown’s effortless glamour—classic, chic, and beautifully in sync with the rest of the day.
Food, Drinks, and Unforgettable Presentation
We always get excited when Zest Atlanta is behind the menu. Not only is their food outstanding, but the presentation adds a visual element that blends seamlessly into a well-designed celebration. Guests were treated to a dining experience that felt as good as it looked—another layer of intentionality that carried through every element of the evening.
From College Friends to Forever
Hannah and Charlie met as college freshmen. What started as a friendship evolved slowly and intentionally into something deeper. Their connection was built over time, and by the proposal—planned during a holiday trip to South Florida—it was clear this was the real thing. Charlie proposed at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, followed by an engagement session and a surprise celebration with their families and friends. The thoughtfulness of that day reflected everything we would later see on their wedding day—personal, meaningful, and joyfully them.
Why This Day Stands Out
As photographers, we’re drawn to connection, story, and genuine emotion. This wedding had all of that, wrapped in a design-forward setting that still felt grounded and real. Documenting it on film allowed us to preserve the mood and texture of the day exactly as it felt. We’re so grateful to couples like Hannah and Charlie who trust us to tell their story authentically.
And of course, seeing it all featured on Style Me Pretty was the icing on the cake.
