Hannah & Tommy | Wormsloe Historic Site Engagement

Tommy was Hannah’s older brother’s roommate at West Point military academy. Eventually, they both met at a military ball and from there, the rest was history. Tommy is currently stationed in South Georgia and I had to go to Savannah for a wedding I photographed in the fall with Design Studio South. I love Savannah’s historic charm and the way that the light and wind cause the trees and spanish moss to dance.

The day after the wedding, I had hoped that I could photograph a couple under the beautiful spanish moss at Wormsloe Historic Site before heading back home to Atlanta.

I was unsure of whether or not I would find a couple who would let me photograph them, but I put out a call on Instagram to see if anyone would be in the area. Luckily, Hannah reached out to me quickly and told me she was available after finding me through the platform using a hashtag.

These two have a joy and a love for life that is so evident and I feel honored that they took the time to come to Savannah and stand in front of my lens. They are truly some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and I’m so excited for them as they tie the knot this autumn.

Hannah’s dress was purchased from Banana Republic, for those of you who are curious. 😉
