Lisa & Cody | Romantic Outdoor Anniversary Photos

I met Lisa and Cody last autumn during the Thanksgiving season at a beautiful location right next to Kennesaw Mountain. I connected with Lisa over Instagram, asking if they would be willing to take photos and bring their new puppy, Finn! Bringing a pup to a session is always so special, and brings such a fun energy to photographs and I loved that these newlyweds had a new addition to their lives. After chatting over a few months about ideas and locations (and getting so excited!), we were able to meet in person when Lisa and Cody two traveled back home to see their families and attend a friend’s wedding at the Engine Room in Monroe, a venue known for its industrial beauty.

These two are truly some of the most relaxed and kindest couples I’ve ever met and it’s couples like these who remind me why I love being behind the lens. Lisa’s contagious smile and Cody’s calming demeanor compliment the other so well, and these two have such a joy in one another’s presence and a warmth that is so endearing to watch as they walked together, hand in hand. During our time together, I got to hear their story about what they do and how they met and where God has taken them and worked in their lives, they are such a testimony to how God good and providential God is.

Lisa and Cody, it was such a joy meeting you both and I’m so excited for you both as you start this new chapter in Albuquerque! I hope you see you both again soon!
